(no subject)
An hour of deciding how to dress up for Poly Esther's (ultra 80's night) left me, Alla, and Julie wearing jeans and shirts. How very original! We're frantically running around her in-construction house trying to find whatever screamed out 'eightees' to us. We finally get ready, and head down to Suburban to meet up with more people (Art's cousins included, how wierd!) and then down to the city. As we're parking, we get a phone call from some of the people who are already inside saying 'oh my god, this is the most hilarious thing ever!' We finally get there and are amazed at the silly dancing and the general lack of people. Unsure why, we all decide to stay and make this a totally ridiculous night. So, straight to the drinking! Between the Blondie and the YMCA it was actually a lot of fun. I think there are pictures somewhere circling around, but I guarantee they will never be posted on here for my protection. hah! Eugene managed to pick up two lesbians (not hot ones) while dancing, but it was all the same to him. After we were all danced out, we headed to Monte Carlo for a little bit of some normal atmosphere, after which we ended up at Suburban eating as much as we possibly could. I got another one of those crazy introductions like the night before. What's up with that?! I feel like I should be giving out autographs. Anyways, so on an unrelated issue, my throat hurts still :( it's like it hurts every other day or something. Will today be the lucky day? I am so excited to snowboarding tomorrow...ever since I learned how to do mogules (well starting to learn), it's been more fun than ever, and I'm counting down the hours till 2 tomorrow! And what's better yet, every time there's more and more people going, which makes it so much better for snowball fights! (once I learn how to balance myself better while throwing snow, that is) :)
