Well I am back! Its nice to be home, but I have to say, Flagstaff is pretty hot and boring in the summer.
My vacation was awesome. I spent from 7/3-7/8 on the Murphy farm in KY. Aaron's mom wanted me to have a full on country experience, so everyday was full of adventure. We went apple picking, worked on the farm, went to the goat auction, bought goats, went to a bird farm that a cousin owns and got 9 roosters...killed the roosters and fried and ate them, ran through corn fields, picked and broke beans, and of course played with the cows and the kittens. It was a great time, and I loved hanging out with his mom and dad, 4 brothers and one sister. That weekend Aaron and I drove back to Louisville where we had a relaxing weekend and then said goodbye. After that I was off to Minnesota for my internship. We spent mon-wed morning practicing and then we drove to Fargo. The Global MIssion Event started thursday and was an absolute blast. At one point I lost my voice, but somehow God always gave me enough of a voice to teach the songs and lead them in front of the 2,000 people in attendance. It was a very meaningful and educational time for me. Now I am home for about a month and then I am going to Indiana for a wedding then KY for two days and then I am off to Baltimore for the second GME. This summer has been great!
