Well yesterday was the Senior Picnic. And Jarred almost died. Apparently on one of the slides, he was at the end, when either Beth F. went down to early, or Spunky pushed her down it, and she slammed into Jarred's neck. THEN Spunky came after her. Jarred said all he could feel was his neck cracking forward. He almost broke it. Also, he was in the big boxing ring with those huge gloves and he and Brad Ladner were playing. Jarred was getting tired and his neck was hurting. He let his guard down for a moment and Brad got ready to swing. Jarred said he looked up and saw Brad's glove coming at his forehead. Jarred fell back and hit the back of his head on the ring. Ow!!!
So thank you, God, for watching over and keeping him safe.
Last night there was the Band Banquet. I had never been to one so I decided to go and ride with Deshaina and Patrice. We went by Winn Dixie to pick up drinks *J-RAD had to work* and showed up about 20 minutes late. "Surprisingly" Jilean got 4 awards from the band. Luca got 3. Kilo and Jessie got cutest couple, which stirred some people up a bit. A lot of them were saying how it was just because of Kilo since last year he got it with Kindra. "Wow... Kilo got it 2 years in a row... with 2 different girls. Karma??" But I don't know. I know Kilo is like the most popular guy in the band. Amanda got mad that she and Cliff didn't get it. Whatever.
Deshaina, Patrice, and I wanted to go somewhere afterwards. We were like "you know what? Let's just GO! I don't feel like going home yet!" Of course, we went to Deshaina's car, and it wouldn't start. People tried to jump start it, but that didn't work. We called her mom and dad and they said one of them would pick us up. So we sat on the back and just talked. Wesley came up and said "Wow.. you have some nice legs." Hahaha ok.... I guess that was just cuz I had a really cute skirt on. Her mom came and we took her mom's car... this REALLY nice Altima. Sweet. We went to Wendy's and talked forever. We were gonna go to Subway, but I had to go home, so we took a raincheck.
3 days and I'm a senior!!!! Although I could have graduated this year... kinda wish I would have.
