BACKGROUND: Ryan was born into a life of privilege and wealth, along with his twin sister Sharpay. Anything Ryan could want he got and developed into quite the momma's boy (though that's not to say he didn't get along with his father either). Following around at Sharpay's heels Ryan found himself drawn to the stage just as much as his sister. The two were a fearsome pair and dominated the stage, even in elementary. By the time he reached Junior High he had been with Sharpay as a lead role in 17 school productions.
Though out his life, Ryan has taken steps to keep Sharpay in the spotlight and this was put to the serious test when they entered High School and a new challenger appeared in their little theater world: Gabriella Montez. While Ryan didn't PERSONALLY have a problem with her, his sister did. As such, Ryan was forced to help sabotage Gabriella in various ways to ensure their spot as leads in the school play. Drama was serious to Sharpay and Ryan was seriously loyal to his sister.
PERSONALITY: Ryan is a nice guy when he’s not hanging out with his sister, Sharpay. He likes to have fun and is generally pretty easy going. He can be a bit of a goofball at times but this is mostly him being dramatic (and he so loves his theatrics). He doesn’t care as much about what people think of him and just does what he loves to do no matter what others might think. Being a rich kid, Ryan can be clueless sometimes, but compared to his sister he is extremely down to earth. He’s not exactly a realist and likes to hope for the best in any situation.
That being said, while he doesn’t see eye to eye with his sister all the time he has seen a side of her most people don’t. Ryan is defensive of his sister and while he accepts her faults, he does try to help her see the other side of any given situation. Ryan is good at seeing the good in others…even if he can be a bit sneaky himself. Ryan has a hard time saying no to Sharpay’s schemes, even if it goes against what he thinks is right. He cares about her and he knows that in the end, Sharpay needs him just as much as he needs her (even if Sharpay doesn’t show it). He is loyal, almost to a fault, to Sharpay. Ryan is also hardworking, putting his all into anything he sets his mind to, mostly dance, but really anything Ryan gets involved in will get his 100% attention.
APPEARANCE: A male of average height and muscular build Ryan has the legs of a dancer, because he is one. Of course, because he does yoga and golf he has great upper arms as well. He has pale blond hair and dark blue eyes. He is a trendy dresser and because he is rich can afford those kinds of clothes. Also, he is never seen without a hat, ever.
