(no subject)
*sigh* I have a paper due tomorrow at 5PM. Of course, me being me, I haven't started it yet. Actually, that's not entirely true. I have most of my sources, have already gone through them and marked the information I need, and I have a loose outline. But that's it and it ain't much.
On top of that, I have two exams this week, plus it's a given that I'll be having a "pop" quiz tomorrow in Japanese Culture. Then there's all the reading I need to do for English.
This is just really not my semester. Yes, all my classes are pretty much easy, but I've managed to lull myself into a pattern of extreme inattentiveness (big shock there, I know) and now the end of the term and all its deadlines are baring down like a freight train.
I really need to learn how to stay on top of things. I can just see it now: I'm gonna be in Grad school and will wait until the day before it's due to write my entire thesis. *headdesk* Maybe I have some weird form of ADHD that makes it so I can't focus on schoolwork without the pressure of "OMFG I'm gonna FAILLL" pushing me along.
Anyway, class starts in ten, so I've got to go snag today's paper and head over there. Hopefully I'll be able to convince the Professor to give an extension. I mean, it's a class on Judaism. Surely he can't expect us to be working on a term paper the week before Passover. Right?
Update: Well, the Judaism exam has now been moved from Wednesday to Friday and the Paper from Tuesday to Wednesday. A longer extension would have been nice, but hey, beggars can't be chosers.
And, because I forgot to do this earlier, everybody pay attention 'cause Lord knows I'll probably never say this again:
