My legs hurt. They're covered in bruises (worse than before), and the muscles are all achy. Thankfully, my jazz teacher decided to cancel the extra practice that she had scheduled for this evening. Apparently, last night we did a good enough job that she no longer thinks we need it, which is wonderful, because otherwise I would have had three nights in a row of practice, on top of two full days of being on my feet at work. My arches and calves are eternally greatful for the night off.
The recital's on Sunday. Dress rehearsal is Saturday, and my class is supposed to get there early so that we can find someplace to practice before our time slot. My scrubs are currently off being hemmed (because my sewing skills are limited to attatching elastics to ballet slippers and patching dog beds, neither of which have to look pretty). After this is all over, I've got about half a month off before the start of Summer dance classes. Hopefully, my legs will be decent by then...
Oh, yeah, and at work. I made employee of the month. Not sure how that happened, but hey, free movie tickets so I'm not complaining.
And should anyone be interested in the music that has been my soundtrack for nearly the past five months, here it is: the music for my jazz class dance,
Check Your Pulse.
