When I smacked into you,
We both apologized.
You hadn’t seen me coming,
But didn’t look surprised.
I, on the other hand,
Should watch where I am going
Or brace myself for impact.
I might not fly so far.
They say you’ll only love
When you’re not looking for it.
If moved too far from sight, though,
You won’t know you ignore it.
I came to my senses,
And you had carried on,
Leaving me with your dent
To think about the guilt
That comes with accidents.
