Day 2
I got to the set 15 minutes late. It was ok, they weren’t ready to use me yet. After last night, waking up was not so easy, but I did it anyway. I was in a room, three sides of which were windows. It smells a little musty, so I left the door open to the next room. In that room, four guys from Chicago slept, or attempted to. The accommodations are cool, but single air-beds take some getting used to. I still haven’t showered or brushed my teeth, or shit for that matter (too much?). It was still dark when I drove Charley and Adam to the set.
Charley is shooting a documentary on the production of the film. I am insanely jealous. He is getting hooked up to the nines for this though. It is really cool. I am not so fortunate. I was an extra today. They told me to go to wardrobe and get into some period costume. I spent about 30 minutes walking around before I finally found the costume department. They sent all the costumes for the extras back to base camp. Shit. I had to go all the way back. The clothing is cool, all mismatched 1930’s garb. The wool pants were quite a bit itchy by the afternoon. If I can get a digital shot, I will definitely post it.
