New Idols
Congrats to the first ten Idol contestants who made the Top 20! From what we've seen so far, I couldn't stress it further that this is bound to be a girl season.
All the female line-ups like the soulful Kree Harrison, Amber Holcomb (who got me addicted to her modernized version of My Funny Valentine) and pro singer-songwriter Angela Miller should be enough proof that the girls are strong contenders.
Just a brief comment on the guys. Surprise, surprise! I never thought I would say this, but last night, Paul Jolley proved he has potential. It wasn't a performance that wowed me, but obviously it was genuine and a slight improvement from his Hollywood Week songs. So kudos to this underrated guy for making it through along with my other favorite - Charlie Askew :)
