All is light and breezy at CW Land, thanks to the TV network's new president Mark Pedowitz who understands the real concept of "audience-building" when it comes to new shows. As a result of his excellent leadership, the 3 new CW shows Ringer, Hart of Dixie and The Secret Circle have all been given full seasons. Finally, for the first time ever, CW does things the right way! LOL
Lauren Alaina's name became a worldwide trend on Twitter the day her album Wildflower hit the stores. For a new artist, this is a very decent debut where every track is a potential radio hit. I'm not surprised the CD has caught the attention of a number of non-country listeners, as almost half of the songs can easily cross-over to the pop/rock genre, especially "Funny Thing About Love", a simple feel-good tune that she wrote herself.

The Final 16 singers from X Factor USA will finally be announced tomorrow night, which means the first ever live show will officially begin next week with the voting lines open. I'm so thrilled that Simon Cowell is mentoring the girls! ;) All 8 ladies are so talented that it's really a tough call to choose only 4 to advance to the live shows. But there are also strong singers from the other categories - Boys, The Over 30's, and the Groups. Tomorrow's going to be intense as the Top 32 becomes 16.
