The styles of the first three show a fairly typical progression through time; I'd guess northern European, maybe Dutch. Number 4 steps backwards again (maybe between 1 and 2, chronologically), and something about it looks British to me. I think it's the bishop's nose. Those four are all explicitly Christian; 6 is newer (between 2 and 3-I'd call it "late medieval" or "early renaissance" as if either of those terms is well-defined in art), and feels secular. Number 5 is "oriental". Ottoman, I'd guess. Saracen influence on the Eastern church.

You lectured on the evolving cultural roles of Christ and the church.

I dunno, but the doghouse on my tattoo has a sign reading INRI and a cross on top. That's all I have to add.
