For starters, tonight is a bad night to wander out into the woods alone, but I think the day has to be given to Gov. George Pataki regarding the two feet of snow that fell on Buffalo, NY overnight: "Looks like mother nature threw us a bit of a curveball this friday the 13th." Delightfully understated, sir.
In other news, three consecutive days, three aircraft incidents. Cory Lidel in New York, the plane whose landing gear broke mid landing yesterday and the emergency landing it Port St. Lucy, Fla on a highway earlier today.
In DC, a school for the deaf has recently appointed a new president, and the students went on strike. Have you ever seen a picket line where everyone is speaking to each other in sign language? Northeast DC is a strange place, but that definitely sets the bar for me.
