It's been a while and I've got nothing on my mind. Work is starting to make me irritated, my life feels like it's hit a wall, and I finally realized that in NJ, the left turns aren't the only things that are stupid. They put the "No Turn on Red" signs on the sign post on the top of the post (It's technically in view of the signal). I guess being in ( Read more... )

why not aim that money toward something less destructive than eating and drinking? travel, pick up an outdoor activity or martial art, go to the gym. all 3 are good ways to meet people too. find some local special interest groups.

also, you live like right by New York. it's a bigger and busier city than Chicago, for crying out loud. there's gotta be something there for you.

More money more money more money. I spend about $10 a day on meals and that's still spending too much. Think about $30 on doing something productive a day and that's just asking for a whole bunch of questions. Also I'm not very good at being social. You should know that.

"It's a good thing I have money, otherwise I'd stay indoors forever. Also, how can I lose weight when the only activities I can do for fun is to eat at restaurants that make yummy food!"

now you're just contradicting yourself. if your only activities consist of eating out, then you're spending way more than $10 a day on food. your post almost made it sound like you had all this money and no idea what to do with it. make up your freakin mind.

if you're so bored and broke and concerned about your weight, stop going out to eat, and stop eating when you're bored. go for a run around the city if you're so bored. it's free, and you'll expend calories instead of gaining them. maybe you'll make a friend or two on the way.

No, I don't spend the money for dinners usually. My mom ends up saying "lets go out to dinner" cause I'm sitting around the house doing nothing. Half my dinners have been eating out.

Maybe a more specific answer is that I life in a food filled area and the only things that people do in the area (and I asked them) are to eat at a restaurant, korean bath house, and the mall. People literally drive 2 hours to go to the beach cause that's the closest fun thing to do on your own.
