what a crazy week

It's one of those weeks where you feel like you don't even have time for yourself.

I only ran once because the other times I'm either genuinely caught up with work or just too exhausted to move. I've been running around our island for interviews and press conferences and even my colleagues didn't see me a whole lot the entire week.

I love my job, the busyness, but I sometimes did wish the load was more balanced. Case in point: I have absolutely nothing on next week.

At times like that, I'm glad I can still find joy in the little things - like being able to conquer all these appointments in my favourite pair of sneakers. (Yes, I know they look like school shoes.) And that I finally managed to take a photo with our beloved merlion.

How can I resist doing an Aiba? Except the angle was completely wrong. But I tried. We were out doing a Marina Bay Sands article and I got too excited with all the national monuments.

My first time on the Helix Bridge. I do wonder what's the hoo-haa. It's like you're walking through a machine to get coated with sand, what with all the construction going around that area.

A must-have-shot for all tourists: The Singapore CBD skyline.

Don't we all love our jobs? The press conference for Sundown Festival was held in a small room and for the first time I thought the misconception of journalists swarming around like hyenas bore some truth.

Had a one on one interview with F.cuz, a Korean boyband performing at Sundown. Lee-U (second from left) was very sweet and tried to speak to me in English. I just wished they had more money for proper jeans.

Joel had his 21st birthday party at St. Games and the theme was Superheros. I think we did an awesome job at being the Powerpuff Girls. Thank you Amelia for your full of effort eyes.

Lee Min Ho walked pass me to get on stage during the Meet and Greet session. He was so close it was ridiculous. (As you can tell from this super sneaky shot, only the security guard's arm was in the way.)

Another tourist shot with Marina Bay Sands. It's as if I'm leaving Singapore forever in September.

Taxi line was insane and I was not happy. (As you can see from this very unglam photo.)

I'm just really very happy to conclude my week when I finally managed to grab a cab home. And very thankful that I survived it. Now, I have to go account for my Sundown Festival article. As I type this, girls might actually be already screaming their heads off at Universal Studios.
