on Fulbright
As many of you are aware, I applied for a Fulbright Scholarship to study in England next year. I finally heard back from them. I did not make the first cut. I'm not particularly surprised or anything, the competition for this was really tough, but I can't say I'm not disappointed either. Part of me kind of wish I'd spent more time trying to apply to grad schools over here. I really didn't expect to get it, but it sure would have been nice.
Hopefully they gave one to someone who's going to go over there and find the cure for AIDS or something equally admirable.
