Jen...Jen, Jen, Jen. Have I told you lately how much I appreciate your writing? Probably not. Well, I do. A lot. Somehow you're able to take River's surrealness and Mal's rock-hard realism and combine them perfectly. I'd like to borrow your brain for a while, if I could, just to see what real writing talent feels like.

You done good, real good. I had a half-sad, half-happy smile on my face all the way through. I like how you set it a fair number of years post-BDM. Writing the beginning of a relationship is fun, but writing about the middle of one can be just as fun, if done right. You handled it perfectly.

It was wonderful to read a story of yours. Thank you!

P.S. - I'll try to get my next one to you in the next day or two. It's been giving me fits. ;)
