This is the top of my dresser. It lives in the living room between my desk and Jack's desk. Thus, the printer.
Detail. Three line drawings by
Ramona Lowe. An owl, a pelican, and a hawk. I heart them.
My mom's jewelry cabinet. It lives right next to our front door.
A little bit closer up. The duck is part of a three basket series I found at the Creative Reuse Depot that I bought for like, $1. They look a lot better now that they're spray painted.
Detail. The buffalo was my mom's. The bell is a pill box that belonged to my grandmommy.
The top of a little cabinet Kira gave us. All of these figurines were my grandmommy's.
This is currently housing a buttload of DVDs. The vases are (shockingly) from Ross. The little blue duck basket is another one of the ones I got at the Depot. Ariane got me the piggy bank a couple years ago while I was super sad. It was full of flowers.
Detail. This picture of Jack and I was taken by our friend Jai about a year ago.
Is that a bedside table underneath another table? I think it is. How cute is that?!
I have an awesome
drop front desk (not exactly like the one in that link, but similar), and this is what is on top. The little green cup and saucer was my grandmommy's. My mom learned how to walk by toddling between my grandmommy and her sister, who would pour little tiny sips of coffee with cream and sugar into these saucers to give my mom.
Detail. This hands bowl was my mom's. It now houses all my extra buttons.
Detail. The woman in the picture is my grandmommy. Isn't she pretty? This was taken when she was in the W.A.C. during WWII. The little boy on the left is my uncle. The little girl is my mom.
Detail. This belonged to my grandmommy. I'm in love with the squirrel.
Detail. My mom bought this on her honeymoon with my dad, I think. I like it a lot.
What did you do today?
