Writing It Down by Uncle Kracker

I was born on the cold side of the mountain
I wanna wake up on the warm side of the bed
How I start here
And how I end there
That is the part I ain’t worked out yet

Every day I climb a little bit higher
Every night I learn something new
I’m writing it down
In case I forget
One day it’ll be my story for you

CHORUS
On every page you will know how much I love you
In every line you will see how much I care
With every word we’ll grow a little closer
Even though we both know I can’t be there
That’s why I’m writing it down down down down down
Ohhhhhhhh I’m writing it down
For you and for me
And for the whole wide world to read
Ohhhhhhhh I’m writing it down

All my life I’ve been hoping and praying
For my time to finally arrive
To put down this pen
To say it’s the end
And wake up back home with you by my side

REPEAT CHORUS

I was born on the cold side of the mountain
I wanna wake up on the warm side of the bed
How I start here
And how I end there
That is the part I ain’t worked out yet

*Essentially yeah thats why I've been writing so often about whats on my mind regarding the miserable situation I've been going through as of late. In a way it's a therapy for me to release what I have on my mind so it doesn't just sit inside and eat at me. It also has helped me learn about myself (subject of a future entry), showing me how flawed I am and what I need to work on so I won't make this same mistake again. It also gives me hope that even if she doesn't read this journal anymore the person knows at least how bad i feel about all of this just would like to have our friendship back even if it takes years for that to ever happen. Thats not someone who has been accused of doing what I've been accused of doing to this person. That is someone who cares and would give anything to rectify this wrong. Just as what was said that caused this was interpreted in one way, any reader of this and the other entries is subject to their own interpretation of the wording whether it's the right or wrong interpretation. And if there are some who don't like reading these entries or think their pitty crap, guess what you don't have to read them.
