Why is it that this basic human need has to be dressed and redressed in glamours and subtleties? Why can't a person in their infinite wisdom take the bullet-proof vest and ask someone to hold them. I'm not talking forever, but just for a little bit. For those times when there is nothing left to say and all the advice in the world is making your ears bleed. Can you do that for me?
