Spring Break was almost exactly as relaxing as you'd expect 6 concerts in 7 days, riding in LA traffic, and a seven-hour bus trip to be: that is, not. I will concede, it was very fun, and the Chorale sounded very good in most of those concerts (our penultimate concert, at Stanford, was very, very well sung). I have learned that San Diego tap water sucks. I got to walk up the crookedest (and maybe second-steepest) street in America in San Francisco, without purposefully setting out to do so... we decided to walk back from Chinatown to the hotel, and for some reason didn't take the Broadway tunnel. I got to see Andy King and my cousin Pete, who showed me around UCSD and LA, respectively.
The local edition of our tour concert, for any of you who wish to and are able to come see it, is two Thursdays hence, March 29th, at 8 pm, in Baldwin Auditorium on East Campus.
And now I get to do academic crap again. Academic crap is icky. But there's no Chorale rehearsal tomorrow night, so I may finally be able to go play at the DDR night they hold each Tuesday.
Anyone whose curiosity is piqued by either Fact A, that my roommate had an embarrassing bathroom experience at RDU, or Fact B, that Bethany (the Chorale student president) cannot watch me drink from a water bottle anymore, should see me for more details.
