Also, after two weeks of classes (and watching others struggle and hearing them gripe), I have devised a multiple-choice test for Duke students:
Sleep
Eat
Take Chem 23L.
Circle two.

Finally, and amazingly, and unexpectedly, and interestingly, and curiously, and intriguingly, and noticeably, and spoon!, I have been sleeping rather well since I got here to Duke. With the exception of the first couple nights, getting to sleep has been no problem for me, and I've gotten sufficient sleep, so I'm not irritable or grumpy (for lack of sleep, anyway) or really tired. It probalby has much to do with the environment: Since all my school friends are here with me, I don't have a lack of evening social stuff to do (read: we sit out in the hall and laugh about stuff); also, because I am often goofing around with these people, I do not waste away the evening sedentarily gawking at the computer screen, as I once did. Granted, I am online for a good deal of the time at night, but a lot of that is not actually chatting or playing, but is neglecting to put up away messages, since we so spontaneously start doing stuff. That stuff includes the dance party last night, hallway soccer, and shoe parties.
By which I mean, Stephanie, Rob and I can all basically fit into each other's shoes.
