Northwest Air, you are evil, evil, I tell you!
So, Southwest is now flying out of Mpls! Awesome! I remember when they had ads originally, and was bummed that we couldn't use their services. Now that they are flying out of Mpls, Northwest is adjusting their prices. I received an email from Northwest for tickest priced 39 bucks one way. Southwest costs 49 bucks.
Wasn't it Northwest who put Sun Country out of business? Part of me wants to resisit the urge to purchase a NW ticket, and stick with SW. SW has general seating, doesn't charge for baggage, can switch flights without a fee, and in the past has provided you with free snacks. Hmmmm...I think paying the extra 10 bucks a flight isn't a bad idea!
I also want to note that when I was going to Vegas (flying Southwest), they were bumping flights, due to weather. I was albe to jump on an earlier flight, and got to Vegas ontime without paying a fee! Southwest, you are my hero!
