Hey my MN Peeps!

So, I was in town for Thanksgiving, but unfortunately, I wasn't able to hook up with many people.  I was without a car, so I was at the mercy of public transit.  Mike was going to drive up, but due to weather, he had to fly here.  He was only here for 2 days with a car.  Since the first day was thanksgiving and we had 3 dinners to attend, we were swamped.  I was hoping to be able to do a brunch thingy, but we flew out of town Sat morning super early, we were at the airport flying standby at 8:45.

I'm thinking the next time I'm in town will probably be Memorial Day weekend.  Since I will be guaranteed a 3 day weekend.  So, see you then!

In other news....
I had vertigo this week.  I'm still recovering.  My doc said it was vertigo.  I find that if I don't make any sudden movements, and if I keep my head level, then the room doesn't spin.  I really feel like crapola!  I have lame exercises that I need to do, but they make me feel worse.  I've been flushing my ears, hoping that it will help.  So far I am doing a little better.  It's not nearly as bad as it was.  I feel like my brain is in a cloud though.  I feel out of it.

I had an awesome time at the tour of the book making plant this last week for work.  I never knew how much when into making a book.  I mean, I could guess, but still!  WOW!

And I've decided for my new year's resolution I'm giving up sweets/desserts.  It's one of my downfalls, so, BE GONE!  I gave up chocolate, which is the hardest, so I think I can do it!

"Roboctopus" may be having a performance in January in Milwaukee.  We're being asked back to the improv showcase for Gorilla Tango Theater.  And I love classes at Annoyance!  I'm starting another set of classes on Mondays next week.  The teacher is cool too!  It's an awesome school!

And is anyone else worried about the new "Sweeney Todd" movie?  I love Tim Burton and Johnny Depp, but I have to say the vocals sporting by Depp are not looking good.  I want to hear Helena sing!  Now, I'm off to watch an SNL rerun with Alec Baldwin!  -Bring the writers back!!!
