I really do love my life. I love the way things are going, the flow of things, how it's all playing out...I couldn't ask for more, being as blessed as I already am with a healthy mind and body and a wonderful daughter. My mom is my guiding angel. She tries her hardest to make things easier for me. And she really has helped me thru more than I can ever recount. I want her to be happy and healthy and full of life.
I do hope one day, though, that Aiyana and I will find a man who loves us and can provide security and the expansion of our family. For now, though, I am so thankful I started massage therapy school before I found out I was pregnant, otherwise I don't know if I would have followed thru. And now that I have my certification, I can spend all day with Aiyana and only spend a few hours in the evening working and making just as much as I would staying full days away from her. It's such a nice situation.
We wake up in the morning, eat breakfast, watch Yo Gabba Gabba, I drink coffee (sometimes) and surf the net, and she runs around exploring and babbling up a gentle storm. She is the eye of the storm, so at peace while the world is in chaos around her. She is also very aware of her surroundings, always observing. And though I say she is like the eye of the storm, the storm does sometimes affect her peaceful nature. She will become easily upset if I am upset. The connection, still just as raw as the first moments after our birthing, just as raw, now buried beneath many layers of protection. She is running around in her Dora The Explorer nightgown and drinking almond milk from her "baba" (sippy cup). She is the fire in my heart!
PS- We don't even watch Dora The Explorer, what the heck?
Better start my day of cleaning, laundry and bleaching the toilet.
Work tonight. I love my job...
Also, yesterday she said,
"Mom! Mom!"
Me:"What, baby?"
"I see bah!"
"Ball?"
*she stompers her feet and gets excited, her eyes wide and her finger pointing to the stairwell*
"Bah! Bah!"
So I get up and follow her to the stairs and she points down, obviously excited that she found her ball. Hahahaha
I go down the stairs and toss the ball up and she tosses it back, we played with the ball and she loved it! Maybe she'll be into sports :)
She also said "happy! happy happy!" all day. It's her new favorite word. I'm trying to get her to say happy and baby at the same time "happy baby". She says the two seperately, but not together yet.
