all ticky boxes had their redeeming value and i might have checked them at one point while i read the book, but over all impression was I CRIED A LOT. during this book. I really did.
AND OH WOW JOURNAL. IT'S... DIFFERENT.
*eyes fall out of head*
it's not bad, just will take a while getting used to, because it is so LIGHT while the other was so DARK. just..... aaah eyes...
i think i like it though... XD

ps.
i especially like the journey theme, makes me want to break into song "the road goes ever on and on" or something else... like grabbing and reading my copy of the myth "east o' the sun, and west o' the moon" which is an old folk tale retold in east... but i think you know all that

the makeover's sweeeet. i like the lightness. (truthfully, though, i don't look at your or katie's ljs often 'cause i go through my friends page, which shows your posts on my layout.)

yay poll! too bad i don't think any of these really fit me. :P i think it reflects your view more than mine -- 2 are negative, 2 are meh. only 1 is positive. and 1 is sad.

i really, truly liked it, so my closest is probably "not finished, but i like it so far"... except that i am finished. why does the fourth one say "not done, and i'm just like comma"? i cried for, like, half a minute in the last chapter (though i forget what over), so i guess #5 sorta applies.

Well, I'm sorry I couldn't capture your exact mindset. The crying-by-the-last-chapter one was supposed to infer that you were so wrapped up in the story that you were very touched by all the deaths, or something like that.
The fourth one is supposed to have a "whatever" at the end, but the poll kept screwing it up.
