Odds and Ends of the Fandomish variety
TV--Scrubs
I just started watching Season 1 on Comedy Central. Now I know there have to be at least a few of you that watch this brilliant show. My question is, why did no one brwobeat into cheacking this show out before?!
Movie--Hero
I love this movie. It was one the other day on Spike, and I nearly stuck knives in my ears. They used the ridiculously horrible English dubbing. Ugh. Anyway watched it last night and was wondering: Anyone know where I could find icons of the beautifulness in the movie?
Movie--The Departed
It comes out October 6th.
sylvanelfqueen, we are goin to see it. I believe this is the American remake of the movie Internal Affairs that
koalothebear loves and often pimps. Correct me if I am wrong.
TV-- The Gates
...aren't coming back until MARCH 2007. WHY? Can someone explain this to me?
TV-- Stargate Atlantis
1. I stayed clean for The Return Part 1, but I read the spoilers on GateWorld for the Seasn Finale. Bad Jaz! Bad, bad, girl!
But it sounds really cool. It, like TRP1 was written by Martin Gero, who as I said in the commentary, should be writing all SGA episodes. The title is "First Strike".
I like that we don't know whether the Repilcators plan to take their fleet to Earth or Atlantis.
The Apollo. I love the name...most likely due to the fact I love Apollo from BSG2003. I hope these will inspire BSG/SGA crossover fanfiction. Though with the arrival of this new ship and it's new commander and crew, I hope that the Daedalus isn't cast aside or killed of. It's about time that Earth is able to complete multiple ships with having one of them killed of. I hope we continue to see Caldwell. I am hoping we are able to see Caldwell interacting with the Ellis character. This Ellis guy is said to be "brusque and take-charge", which essentially what Caldwell is, or started off as. Maybe we'll see that Caldwell has loosened up from his interaction with the Expedition over the past two years.
I want to know exactly what kind of measures Weir wil be taking to protect the City.
2. I was on SGA Emedian site earlier and was looking in their Episodic Photo Gallery at the pictures that they had for TRP1.
Both of these pics were listed under The Return Part 1. Was this pic(1) actually in the episode? I mean guess I could see wear it would fit, but I don't remember the team situated in the jumper like that. Weren't Elizabeth, Carson, and Rodney all sitting in the shot in the jumper after they picked up Teyla and Ronon?
And I know that this pic(2) wasn't in the episode! I would have squee'd something fierce and talked about those R/W ship googles
koalathebear hands out with her R/W fanfic and how much I love leather vests and hot guys with guns.
3. I changed my Journal title to the PB [book] quote Sheppard used in The Return Part 1! I love John Sheppard and Martin Gero.
