Because I felt like it. No really, I have found some really nice Sheppard fiction and wanted to share said findings. Ranges from humor to angst to goodbyemind!forthisstoryhasblownyouaway! *g* Enjoy! Everything is below the R (M) rating unless specifically stated.

A great fic about Sheppard post-Epiphany. Author's Summary:Being on the path to Ascension changes a man. 13 Chapters+ WIP.
Meditation, contemplation, crazy Jedi mind powers. He wouldn’t have believed it if he hadn’t spent six months immersed in it. Hedda could heal with a touch, Teer could read his mind; heck, Teer’s mother could move objects with a thought. How bizarre was that? Imagine looking at that pen on the counter and willing it to... move?
The pen did NOT just wobble. It didn’t.
Did it?

Because John/Atlantis is not only OTP! it's essentially canon. Features others, Radek Zelenka POV.
The stargate, of course, is working fine and those in the command-and-control unit say that they can almost hear a hum of anticipation at each incoming wormhole, as if Atlantis is hoping that this time it will be Sheppard stepping through. It never is and Radek knows that Atlantis sulks each time because he has timed outages to offworld activation of the stargate.

This is a gen Sheppard. Takes place before the expedition leaves for Atlantis, but after Sheppard signs up for the mission. Mostly how Marines are like those popular, snobby high school girls that gossip a lot.
"I don't care what you think of him, Sergeant," Sumner growled at Mackinaw, getting right in his face like a drill instructor. "He has a gold leaf on his collar and that means that everyone in this room but me calls him 'sir'. Do I make myself clear?"
There was only one acceptable answer and Mackinaw gave it. "Sir! Yes sir!"

Author's Summary: Sheppard is supposed to be the boss of them. Sheppard makes a mistakes that he knows was wrong from the beginning and has to deal. Rating: juvenile adult humour (so...high PG-13ish?)
The Marines were getting restless. You'd never believe these guys had been posted to other godforsaken places under the same orders. Even if most of the godforsaken places, Antarctica aside, at least allowed access to prostitutes.
They needed to find the M4X-whatever world of red light districts. Fast.
The scientists, on the other hand, didn't get restless. They just loaded up on caffeine and then got to work, secure in the knowledge that he wasn't the boss of them.

Author's Summary: John has a hard time figuring out his place in the universe after Carson makes a startling discovery: John may very well be an Ancient. More Descended!John. It's an amazing read. Just go and read it!
"I don't know, it's kind of fuzzy. Lots of heads peering down at me. My mom holding me and giving me a bottle. That kind of stuff." He snorted. "There was this mobile over my crib that just fascinated me."
"Let me guess. Planes?" Rodney asked mildly, sarcasm so faint it probably wasn't intentional.
John shook his head. "No, sorry to disappoint you. Moons and stars."
They all exchanged loaded glances.
"Rodney, what's your earliest memory?" Elizabeth asked, as if she knew something John didn't.

A crossover SGA/SG1. Sheppard/Vala pairing. Takes place in Atlantis. Don't worry if your not too fimilar with SG-1, just need basic knowledge: who Vala is, Ancients' "no interference with lower planes" rule, and Ori are bad. Descended!John with a TWIST! This is the mind-blowing fic I mentioned in my intro. I didn't really grasp it-and no, I am not going to tell you what it is, you'll just have to read for yourself- until half way into to the story. Then I went back and picked up on the clues I didn't conscienously notice. So I suggest reading it over twice if you have the chance. Rating: R
Sheppard is close, sitting next to Rodney. He turns, gripping Rodney’s shoulders and fixing him with a gaze as intense as the hottest fire. “I promise I’m not an Ancient, Rodney. It must be something else.”
“You’re sure? You couldn’t even remember your hometown , , ,:
“I remember my hometown fine, McKay. It’s my birthtown that I have trouble with. Trust me, if I had that kind of strategic knowledge, I’d tell you about it. You trust me, right?”
Rodney sighs a sigh of relief he doesn’t even have to practice. “I believe you.”

Rodney and Radek argue over science-y thing and consequenses of said science-y thing and John/PuddleJumper OTPness! What more could a reader ask for?! A very amusing read,I have read this at least 5 times and I always laugh out loud.
"You are wrong! You are so wrong! Your wrongness is so vast we had to invent new fields for you to be wrong in!" Rodney shouted.
...
"We'll be ripped to shreds!" Rodney shouted.
"--NINETY DEGREES AND WE WILL BE FINE!" Zelenka yelled at the top of his lungs.
"A FINE SPRAY OF TRINIUM AND BLOOD!" Rodney screamed back.
...
That's when Rodney devolved to insults. If Rodney broke out with "Radek, you ignorant slut," John wouldn't be at all surprised. Normally, that would mean that Zelenka was right and Rodney was wrong, but Rodney seemed pretty sure about that whole "fine mist" thing.
Well. Hell with this. John was the pilot, he was the samurai here. Time to cut the counter in half.
He put both hands on the dash and talked to the jumper as directly as he could. Jumper? Baby? Light of my life?
Innnocence a Child by

Probably the single saddest piece of Sheppard Fic, Stargate Atlantis Fic, Stargate Fic, FANFICTION I have ever read. I was really crying, this story made my heart hurt.
"Is this the wee lad then?" he asked, leaning over to take a look at the baby. The baby regarded him curiously, apparently curious about this new person with the unfamiliar accent. John nodded, looking down at the child.
"I'll need to take a look at him, Colonel," Carson said gently. John looked up, and something flashed in his eyes. Elizabeth could see that he was reluctant to turn the infant over to Carson, even though John himself had suggested the doctor look at him. Carson took the baby carefully, talking to the infant about getting him looked over and back in the Colonel's arms quickly as he moved over to one of the examining areas, a female nurse and another doctor joining him. John stayed where he was, but his eyes never left the baby.
