I read Breaking Dawn...And I Liked It. A lot.

Things to keep in mind: I read spoilers (see my thought back then here and here). I knew about human!Bella being pregnant with half-vamp!Renesmee Carlie, the book being separated into three parts with second being Jacob POV, and Jacob imprinting on Nessie…

I thought I was going to be a hater, it sounded such badfic…but surprisingly it turned out a ( Read more... )

Another person that liked it! *hugs* Happy to be of service, we certainly must stick together when so outnumbered by haters.

I think that splitting up the packs makes the most sense as well for the same reason. And you pose many good questions about the new members to the pack (if I am right about where SMeyer may go next, we'll probably learn quite a bit about them). The rez must be a little chaotic!

The Cullens/Jacob/Pack moving thing is a very interesting idea. And Jacob will have to keep moving with them because Ness is immortal once she stops growing, right?...I suppose Jacob will never stop changing because that'll keep him immortal too...

It definitely helped ~me~ to be spoiled because after I thought about it for a while I just excepted it. I mean, what could I, or any of us, do about? When I read the spoilers, most of my hate came from shock, oh no she didn't just go there and what have you. I think shock is the trigger for a lot of the hate and bashing, though I will not deny that some people just really did not like this book.

Rambley? Darling that "happy positive review" of mine was five pages long in Word. Get as rambley as you want, it's welcome! :D

Oh, I had a LOT of troubles with it while I was reading. I really did not like the vamp!baby, it was completely out of left field and went against her mythology as she had set it up previously. But now as I'm getting used to the idea (and staying away from the hate thread, because it seriously depressed me), I'm feeling much better about the novel as a whole, and it's (ridiculously) perfect happy ending.

There truly was lots of fantasticness going on in this novel. :)

I hope things calm down soon (at least in time for her LA live broadcast signing, cause I'm scared for Steph), but if we lose half of fandom, at least everyone who's left will be happy positive people! :)

And Yay rambles. ^_^

The hate thread makes me feel how I imagine Jasper would feel at Princess Diana's funeral, swear to God. I'm glad I got used to the idea before getting the book so I could on the writing.

Way more fantasticness than was expected on my end, that's for sure.

I am so worried that people at the concerts are going to be all harsh and stuff to Stephenie. It's her books, her characters, and her mythology, she can do what she wants! And hey, this fandom is so huge, maybe a little pruning wouldn't go amiss.

Wooh rambles! :DDD Friends?

Pruning! That's what it is! lol

Sure! But I don't read my friends list very often, so I don't make the best one.
"I'm not a good friend for you." hahahaha.
I mostly keep up with my fandoms on lj. And post art.

Pruning FTW!

That's ok, I read my flist all the time, but I suck at commenting... *shrugs*
