'Narnia' (movie) fans:

You may have seen the trailer for 'Prince Caspian', mostly likely on Youtube, but I would encourage all of you to check it out HERE, at NarniaWeb, if you haven't already.

You might have to let it load for  bit first (I did, but it didn't take that long at all) but it is well worth it. It's gorgeous. The picture is crystal-clear ( Read more... )

HEE! It replaced my Atlantis popart wallpaper as well! I maybe put that one up a few months ago...if someone told me how invested I would become in Tin Man last saturday, I might have keeled over laughing...it looked interesting, but I definitely didn't expect this.

Oh, darling, I was so right there with you. Probably because I assumed that Tin Man was going to be very close to the musical, which I...disliked *cough*. I guess as I continued to watch the promos it started to look more different and that's why I watched it.

I am so excited for the marathon. And yes, Tin Man, and especially Cain/DG, it is stuck in my head, and when springs up I can't help but to stop and muse on it. It is incredibly addicting.

Let me ask you something. Technically, Part One aired a week ago, and it's be a handful of days since it ended, but does it feel like you've been in the fandom for ages?

HEE! Yes, the move from "Meh. Maybe I'll tune in for the first 10 minutes and stay if it is ok" to "OMGFLAILTINMANISSOGOODCAIN/DGFOREVER!" is a little crazy and baffling.

I woke up to day looked at the clock and proceeded to figure out how real studying time I was going to have before the marathon started. Then my friend called and when I couldn't go out with her, she was considering watching a Monk marathon, but I causally suggested Tin Man if she got bored. I'm going to call her at like 4:45 and subtly make she sure she tunes in...

It does feel like years and not days. It's weird, I was explaining to that friend, who is not currently on LJ b/c no internet at the moment, why she should watch the marathon. She hasn't seen all my post on it, so she asked me how long I was in the fandom. It was very weird to say, "OH, you know, a little less than a week..." because I was so into it when I was trying to convince her that it was awesome. She was very surprised I had gotten so invested in so little time, and she is a very fandom-oriented ( ... )

She did watch at least the first part...I don't know how far she got though as I haven't talked to her since the end of the first ep.

I've given up really trying to explain it and sticking with stuff like "it's different from the musical", "it's darker", "...my ship is Cain/Dg, if that helps." :D

I can stop talking about mostly because I know there are few people who are the right crowd and I never seem to be around them. I really only talk about by crazy fandomness online with LJ people and a few friends from high school. With finals and studying and my uni friends, I just keep it to myself mostly. Doesn't mean when I get sick of studying or that when I am walking home from an exam that I don't let my imagination run wild with it...
