This episode was full of great comedy!
Aang trying to fit in at school, Toph being awesome, Sokka's paranoia of being caught! Even Katara's willingness to steal as long as it is for fashionable clothes (it can't be help, she is still a teenage girl).
Just to get it out of the way: I hated the shipping. The Maiko and Kataang, of course. However, I will admit that Aang and Katara's spar-bending dance was, in theory, really cool. Maybe if it hadn't been so damn shippy, I would have like it more. Shipping: Two Thumbs Down. >:[ Hopefully, having them so blatantly obvious so early in the season means they won't last.
SOKKA! That boy looks hella good in Fire Nation clothes. I think I said this last time, but Water Tribe people look great in red. And gluing the beard to your face? I love you, Sokka. He does love Secret Rivers.
I like Toph and her shoes...her outfit was awesome, but I have a nitpick. How is it that a blind person knows which clothes (that are drying on a line, quite above the ground) to steal? ...Yeah, that's what I thought.
Zuko...is an idiot. A hot idiot, but still. And it was cool when he did his Firebending of Frsutration outside the cell. And at least we go to see Iroh. Even though he was haggard and in prison and didn't actually say anything. It was so sad when he cried.
Aang took his friend's name, Kuzon. And how 'bout totally kicking butt while actually doing the opposite with the jealous Fire Nation kid. And his portrait of Ozai that he made of noodles. :D
I like the Fire Nation kids (except for the jealous one of course). In my head, they will for a little secret club and continue meet and have dance parties! Loved of they did the time-patented diversion tactic o misdirection with wearing their sashes as headbands like Aang.
Random: I love Fire Nation music. That is all.
Also the Hilarityness of Aang's paents going to school. Sokka needs to learn how to not be so over the top, even though it is hilarious. And how about Katara being Aang's Pregnant MOM?! BUt she looked good (though she looked like she was expecting multiples-not a bad thing) and I adores her Princess Leia buns.
I went back and forth between cracking up and being annoyed (with the shipping), but the overall I thought this was a funny, fantastic episode!
