One of the bloodiest most disturbing movies you will ever see!
I just saw this movie (downloaded it recently) earlier this evening and it's so fucking crazy!
One of the most intense, disturbing, and bloodiest movies I've ever seen!!! Beatrice Dalle plays one of the most psychotic characters in movie history. And I felt so sorry for the pregnant lead, Sarah (Alysson Paradis). Her face throughout the beginning of the movie was filled with such dread and hopelessness at the loss of her husband and having to give birth as a lone mother. And things only manage to become even more tragic when "The Woman" shows up hellbent on trying to take her unborn child! I just finished the movie about 2 hours ago, but the whole thing is still running through my head! The only negative to the movie is the unrealistic police investigation scene... or maybe the police really are like that in France?? But anyway, that's completely ignorable. This movie definitely needs to be slapped with a surgeon general's warning because this movie will not be tolerable by pregnant women! Or even women who plan on having children or have already had children... way too fucking intense!!!
Weinstein Co. is distrubuting the movie to DVD in the US. They can't first go for a limited theatrical release due to the film's intense violence!!! The DVD will be available in the US on April 15, so be sure to check this shit out!!!
