start of the weekend
I received a call on friday from an out of town number. I did not pay too much attention to it since I've been getting weird calls out of town numbers. When I check my voicemail it was a manager from the Intel Corporation! He had received my resume from the Career Services website, and from a former Engineering contact. She gave him good words about me :D Anyways, he said he has several positions to fill and wanted to ask me a few questions. I called him back and talked with him for a while. Seems that me and two other close friends of mine were chosen for this contact at Intel for his hiring decision. I did a phone screening today with him (originally planned for next week) and he said if all goes well after reviewing everything they will fly me out for an in-person interview. He mentioned the weekend, so thats what I'm expecting. YAY! I haven't received an internship and if I can get my foot in the door with this I will be most obliged to my former Engineering contact. I'm hoping its this next weekend I will get sent out since I leave on wednesday the 17th to Penn. to take my sis.

After the good news and being on the phone for a few hours with one of the other girls that was called from Intel, I talked to my other friend Erika. I invited her to go shoot pool with me at a place called Players in the northeast. I tried to convince my sister to go as well but no luck. We get there, play for a bit. We both take separate poddy breaks. When I come back there is this guy talking to my friend Erika. I laugh since she always gets the attention when she doesn't want it. So this dude asks if we want to play teams with his friend. I say eh, ok fine. We get a few rounds of drinks and both erika and I and these two guys start talking to each other. The place closes. The guy that was talking to me reminds me of a messican version of one of my ex's so he's cute :p. He started kissing (my cheek)and hugging me by the end of the night. They decide they want to follow us home. We get to erika's house, and chill there for a bit. I made myself a good Jack and Coke, extra strong, and finish that. I realize its 4am and my dad is calling me at this time. I was in no position to drive and Erika's mom was out of town for the weekend. The guys end up staying there with us. Erika and this guy Eric go into their room and me and his friend stay in the den. He smoked so I got sick after a while with him trying to hug and smother me. I come back from the restroom and he's passed out now. I fall asleep on the couch next to him. Morning comes and I want to cuddle, so I joined him on the sofa. I figured by this time its either they'll realize the drunkeness of the night before, or it was genuine. He was calling me babe and kissing me still so i was like uhh ok. I find out he's 20. He's a youngin'. We leave the house, exchanging numbers (erika and her guy didn't cuz she said no ahah) I leave the house and realize I forgot his name!! I get home, after calling erika and seeing if she knew. He leaves me a voicemail when I'm in the shower and leaves his name...James..We even took a picture together lol. picture,me drunkAnyways, I had lots o fun, and talked to him like 2 again today.
I just needed anything to get over the "other" one. I had a fun time flirting with a guy at the mall today too. I kept making him go 'work' finding us some jeans hehe..
*sidenote..wanted to go to players again, got there after an encounter with racers, I had to move to the other side of the road! I get two blocks away and my friend decides he didn't want to be there and left..rawr..drive around for a bit, and go home..another drunk driver on the road UGH! today was NOT the day for me to be driving..
tomorrow maybe going to ascarate park to ride the boats with my sister. Sounds like it'll be fun! :)
