tempus fugit
update: lydia is letting us move out a month early biotch! i got paid on friday and used that WHOLE paycheck plus some to pay the first months rent on the new place. we get to move in like 10 days. thats fuckin crazy doggggg.
a new cycle! change. this place has brought about many changes to me and many many lessons that i will hopefully remember. first- dont live with friends because they are your friends. live with them because they will be compatible for you to live with. because you REALLY get to know people when you move in with them, like it or not. second- smoking/drinking buddies are usually not real friends.
the most important lesson i have learned though is that life really is about survival of the fittest. so stay focused. ive been going to school and working full time, and slowly planning out what i want to do with music while everybody around me fucked around and pissed away this whole year. i mean, i did my fair share of that too. but i also got shit done. people look at me wierd sometimes because im so anti social and tired all the time. but in a couple years they will understand why. stay focused. you only got this one life to do all the stuff you want, and it takes careful planning and alot of prioritizing. im still learning, and still messing up. but the first step to success is being brave and trying new things no matter how intimidating. and also just shaking off the failures and trying again.
i guess im feeling optimistic for once because im getting the fuck out of here. jes feels the same. and krista must too because she agreed to move on to andy's couch so we could get out a month early. and josh is in florida. on a beach somewhere while we clean up this mess.
i have to work soon, but chef is on vacation for a week so it'll be stress free. also krista is gone home for 3 days, which means jes and i have this shithole all to ourselves for a few days!
