(no subject)
So Friday we had a picnic in the middle of the cafeteria! Everybody else was forced to eat the greenie weenies (The cafeteria menu calls these exquisite foreign delicacies 'hot dogs'. I think they resemble large furry caterpillars more than Lassie, but hey, what do I know?) because they are simply not as cool as us.
We even had a red-and-white checkered blanket with cows and chickens on it and a real picnic basket. Everyone was completely jealous. A few people even said they wanted to do it themselves, but I don't think they could pull it off like we could.
And the cafeteria ladies seemed amused. However, I am doubtful they will be amused when everyone starts having picnics instead of eating the school lunches. Maybe then they will even outlaw our picnics like they have outlawed bringing in food from uptown. That won't stop us, though. We'll just go outside.
