so heres the story i guess:
the band that i moved to another state for, quit jobs for, and completely devoted three years of my fucking life to is breaking up after our next two shows (this sunday october ninth, and christmas day december 25th). apparently scott lee himself has asked that our final show on the 25th of december with the acacia strain feature the original lineup and apparently that doesnt fly with nelson, and he has come to the decision that he wont be playing sunday's show. that's not what i want, but then again i try to be on good terms with people with whom i have no reasons to fight.
now i want to explain and reiterate to whoever wunderkin72 is that i am not in the least a dumb kid, and he/she can fuck off if he/she thinks he/she knows anything about myself or any of the people in my band (other than nelson with whom he/she is clearly acquainted) because they are among the greatest of my friends.
i'm not being a dick, i'm being civil - i obviously read your journal, so unless you don't care to continue on friendly terms, please continue to bash my friends.
other things that suck:
my best friend is moving to the other side of the fucking state to join another band and apparently to start a new life. good luck with that.
i still don't have a car after mine got wrecked by a drunk fuck, and the guy i was going to buy one from sold it the day before i was supposed to pay him for it.
i still don't have a job.
i really don't know what i'm going to do.
edit by ryan moge:
this coming sunday october 9th will be one of two final shows for antilove. the lineup that opened cabot st with the highest attendence crowd its ever had is back for their final curtain calls. christopher beaureguard, gregory pronovost, brendan lalumiere, jules edward van schelt IV, and ryan moge. playing at the october 9th show includes the esoteric and a loss for words. the second of the two shows will be christmas day, 2005. it will be a live proffessional dvd shoot, that will be packaged together with new material and tour footage of the tour with TMB and OBAB of april. other performing bands include our good friends THE ACACIA STRAIN and THE MILES BETWEEN. both final shows will be at the cabot street pub, in chicopee massachusetts. Please come out and support the kids who helped break in this new club and brought you great music for the past 3 years. its your last chance to show them how much you care. we all love you and thank you so much for the last three years its been the time of our lives.
PLEASE COME OUT AND SHOW US SOME LOVE THESE LAST TWO SHOWS. IT WOULD MEAN THE WORLD TO BOTH THE GUYS AND ME. SHOW US HOW YOU SUPPORT YOUR FRIENDS HERE IN MASSACHUSETTS. DANCE, SING ALONG, JUMP ON PEOPLES HEADS. HAVE A GOOD TIME, AND GET YOURSELF CAPTURED ON CAMERA AT WHAT IS SURE TO BE ONE OF THE BEST MOMENTS OF OUR YOUNG LIVES.
love,
ryan moge.
