i'm not entirely sure but i think you might have forgotten a motion blur step because when i had noise it's just dots not any rain shape.

Okay, I am a complete graphic making newbie, and I just tried this tutorial and I actually squealed when it worked because I really am a dumbass when it comes to things like this! Thank you so much for your tutorial! It was done so well, so clear and the screen shots really helped because I'm just becoming familiar with my program. You're wonderful!
