WELL THEN. I was almost doing good. Last weekend was good. Friday Lauren, Dave, Nate, Brenna, and I all went by Christine's house. I love hanging out on lakes with a bunch of friends. I got to wakeboard, but sucked. I just liked being in the water and being in the sun. I had one of my not-so-fine moments. I just got out of the water, and was standing facing everyone, zoning out, and Nate pointed out that my trunks were sticking to me real bad in the wind and everyone more or less saw my penis. It happens, right? We cooked lunch and watched Garden State (mostly) and then sat on the pier and talked and watched a thunderstorm across the lake explode. As it got bigger, Lauren and I realized that we should be leaving before it got any worse. We made it to her house really quick. Oops. I ended up attempting to nurse her burns, which was hard because I kept hurting her.

Saturday I took the ACT. I didn't feel like I did really good, nor did I feel like I did really bad. It was hard to focus. Afterwards I went home and ate some lunch and such. Lauren was using her newly aquired freedom to go shopping with some friends, so I had to keep myself busy for a few hours. Allegedly, the Starbucks in Brookfield was having a coffee seminar, and it sounded cool so I showed up there and there was no coffee seminar. Instead, I ordered some iced something that I never had and it had this wicked strong but flat after taste. I sat there and pondered what the hell I was going to do. I finished my drink and went the the Barnes and Noble across the street and ended up reading books about cars for a good two hours and then looked at CD's. I was just sick of reading and looking and not talking to anyone, and it was getting late, so I called Lauren to see where she was. I met her, Cecily, and Alyssa at Mayfair and tried to stay out of the way as they finished their shopping. I took Cecily home, and Lauren took Alyssa home. We got to Lauren's house and she was mad that I had forgotten her clothing at my house, so I drove us to my house and back to get her stuff. Her mom got pizza for dinner. Lauren and I layed on her bed pretty much all night and slept a little. As odd as it might sound, it was much needed. I got home and the Zims were not home, so I came home and talked to Lauren which was nice because I didn't think I would get to again. I ended up sleeping at my house.

Sunday I woke up early and talked to Lauren again, which was also good and appreciated. It was the last time I talked to her. I went to work, which sucked as usual. I went to Dave's after and I don't even remember what I did that night.

Monday I worked with Jake, and afterwork a storm started brewing, and by the time we got to his house it was pouring, and Mitch was having a party of some sort, so we took off our clothes and played dodgeball with 5th graders in the middle of a huge storm. The kids parents got paranoid, and called their kids inside, so we set a bad example and jumped in the pool and some kids followed. Mrs. Wimmer got mad after a while and we had to go inside. We jammed in his room with Nick for a while, and then he had a piano lesson so I played guitar by myself. He got done, and we ate random food laying around, then went over to Dave's. We talked to John for a while, and then we were all about to leave for Frank's in my car, when Dave's mom got home and caught us. She yelled at Dave and I and I told her I was taking Jake home. So Dave had to get out of the car, and I drove Jake down the block and killed some time and went back to the Zims. I learned Mr. Zim was bringing a 300zx home to show John, so of course I stuck around to see that. It took about 20 minutes, and Jake kept calling me to ask where I was. It was sooo worth it though. The sound of that car was BEAUTIFUL. I'm almost drooling just thinking about it right now. It was probably about half an hour since I dropped Jake off when I realized we should go. Dave and I left, picked Jake up, and went to Frank's. No one was home, so we messed around in his basement then Frolfed in his front yard until he got home. We filled his gas can up, then filled the jet ski up. I got to drive while he wakeboarded, but that was it. We played frisbee in his driveway while it was pitch black out. Jake went somewhere with Frank's girlfriend, and I didn't know when he would get back, and Dave and I were hungry, so we left and went to taco bell. We went to his house and I went to bed pretty quick.

Tuesday I worked by myself since Jake was getting his wisdom teeth pulled. After work I went home and changed, then went to Honda City to have another key made. I decided to get an oil filter. I went to Culvers to hit some free stuff off of Dave, which I did, and he agreed to help me change my oil when he got off of work. I had no money, so I went to the bank, then went to Autozone and bought some oil. I have a really odd oil, and I bought synthetic, just for the hell of it. I went back to the Zims and picked up all of my bedding from the past few days, and Dave got home. With difficulty, I drove my car up onto blocks, and Dave slid under my car and realized it was way to hot to do yet, and also realized they did not have the correct size wrench to get my oil filter off. We went to Napa and yet again I spent money. It was deffinately one of THOSE days. Luckily it was only $3. We let it cool down a little more, then Dave did all the work, and I followed along and learned. He had only done it once before on his car, so he learned a little too, but we did it all right. We all ate dinner and just sat around. John got home and we sat and talked while he ate dinner. He's always entertaining. My parents got home, so I went home and hung out with them the rest of the night.

I again worked alone today, which was dead boring. Today it sank in that Lauren isn't around. Speaking of which, it's amazing what a lack of school does. It's like everything is instantly better again, even after being rocky for a while. I've done a good job of keeping myself busy until today. I need to find something to do. Like eat and apple and watch the simpsons.
