Today was the best day I have had in a LONG time. The school day was very average, except that I rule at field hockey and I got to read funny lines in Brit Lit. After school I came home and made Lauren's birthday card (HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAUREN!) and then talked to her for a little bit. I found out that Jon had gotten her the same cd I did, so that made me worried and slightly fustrated. So then I went to the bank to cash a check and get some money, came home, and took a shower. It was a good shower. I waited around for my dad to come home so that I could take his car. He got home, helped me with my tie, and I left. The people at the green house were really slow. I don't think Barb was there, and she's the owner and really cool. So then I hauled ass over to Lauren's house through rush hour which wasn't cool because everyone drives like a dickweed. I got to her house, she read my card, and put my flowers in a vase, and we went to the art show or whatnot at the Wilson Center. We walked around there for a while and looked at the drawings and paintings of people from her school and central. There were some that were amazing, and some that I hated. It's art, what do you expect. We got in the car, and realized we still had over an hour until our reservations, so we went back to her house for a little bit. We hung out there and then left for the restraunt. Once we got there, we ordered brushetta and our entrees. I got a pasta ravioli dish. It was cheese and spinich filled ravioli with oil and something on top of it. It was AMAZING, and Lauren got a chicken type dish, and that was also amazing. For desert we got chocolate truffle cake and tiramisu, both of which were free because it was Lauren's birthday. After dinner we went back to her house for coffee and such and read a girly magazine. My dad called, and I had to go home. On the way home, I rolled down all the windows, cranked up Nine Inch Nails, and the ride was perfect. There is something about driving really fast, with the wind in your face, and everything around you is noisy and violent, and yet you're perfectly calm and everything is happy. Every light was green, and everyone moved out of my way. Tonight was such a good night. Lauren looked amazing. Everything went as planned. I really hope my life is like this. It's just so happy. It's having everything, and someone to share it with. I really do have it all.
