The Finite Cuteness Capture Theory
I think that there must be a finite amount of cuteness in the universe. If someone captures too much cute, the universe must retaliate to ensure that the total cuteness remains constant.
This must be why, the day after I get the video camera I purchased, my still camera breaks. In fact, I'm having a tough time getting data off the compact flash card that was in the camera in the first place. Clearly, the only possible explanation is the Zero-Sum Cuteness Theory.
