Birthdays and stuff
Happy Birthday to Tiffanie Pearce!!! Even though she has no LJ and doesn't read this. I wish her a happy birthday anyway. I should also email her later. Hope the address is still right.
Also, my mind has been warped by the discovery that there is Calvin and Hobbes crossover fanfiction. Crossed over with this other comic "Foxtrot". They are in college and it is hysterical. Cause you know, that a college age Calvin would probably have wound up hanging with us. I'd never read Foxtrot before so I had to go and find it so I would get character background.
In other news, my garbage disposal is fixed! Yay! However, I am still being plagued by a swarm of fruit flies. They go after my bananas. And if there is anything in the sink with water in it they go for that too. Dunno why. I've bug sprayed em but there are always more of the little buggers.
Also watched this old movie called Crossworlds. It had the potential to be a good movie, but there were way too many plot holes and people kept doing stupid stuff. I had stuff figured out way ahead of the main character, who was very dense. Rutgar Hauer(?sp) was in it as the only reasonably intelligent good guy. They only won because the bad guys kept not killing them, just beating them up. Dumb villians.
