Strange Days
Exams are quickly approching, yet, i have lost a lot of my will to work and i do not know why. I sit at my computer desk and just look at my books and not aborb any of the information. I am anxious for school to end because i am looking foward to the summer. I got my old job back for the 5th summer in a row, my boss got a wikkid contract so i am going to be treated really well and i have an awsome project to work on. Get to play with and program a lot of nice toys.
Well it is not just this that i wanted to write about, i wanted to write about how sick i am of hearing all this stuff about disease and war. I have gotten to the point where it pisses me off to hear someone say SARS or WAR. They are just buzz words that sends panic through people, and cause people to pay more attention to the news hence getting more obsessed with the situation. It makes me sick to see people who are so insane that they need to wear Gloves and masks on the subway. and it makes me sick to see so many people taking time out of their lives to protest and march up and down endlessly about a war. people can wear masks all they want and people can protest all they want.. in the end, the situation will still be the same. There will still be a war, and people will still be completly paranoid about a disease that 100 people have gotten and 3000000are scared about. Like i know there is a theart but just wash your hands before you eat and stay away from hospitals and you will be fine.
i am finding peoples actions so strange, and i don't blame them, it is the media's fault. They are telling these people what to do and the really stupid ones are doing it. and as for the war, it is crappy that it happened the world could have lived without it, but just get off the streets and stop demonstrating, and if you are really opposed to this war, at least have a good god-damned reason. I don't want to hear that bush is a terorrist, or that this is for oil. because that is just absurd, it is not about oil and bush may be stupid but he is not a teorrist. The people in Iraq are ruled by a vicious dictator who DOES kill people. so there is a reason to go in there and bring him our of power. what i just don't understand is why Bush choose Iraq considering how many more countries have as bad of a situation if not worse.
and from what i have seen from other people and in demonstrations i want to point out that VIOLENCE IS NOT A WAY TO GET AN ANTI-WAR MESSAGE OUT. These people call them-selves anti-war yet they start fights with people who do not believe in what they do. Whether it is verbal or physical it is no way to get a passive point accross.
Well whatever, this is my view on things, i hope they are accurate because i have not watched TV or read a newspaper in at least a week. I just want to live a normal life and not let the media pollute my mind with death and distruction.
sorry for not checking my grammar or spelling, i just do not care to do it. and sorry for anyone who actully read this, i know it is crappy, but i don't care, it is just an abstract about how i feel at the current time on the current "situation"....
