Ewww: Did you hear about the 9 y/o boy who went to the doctor for an earache and found two spiders in his ears??? And no, this isn’t urban legend, folks-this is Headline News! Eww!!!
Justice: Pairs Hilton was sentenced to 45 days in jail, and my faith in the justice system is temporarily revived. She calls the punishment “cruel.” She claims she “didn’t know” her license was suspended, and she’s “very sorry;” she’ll “never do it again.” Dman right you won’t-after spending a month and a half behind bars. Cruel? Cruel is the fact that you think the rules don’t apply to you because you’re insanely wealthy and no one’s EVER disciplined you. That’s cruel. Let’s hope the American Justice System can stick to its guns and pick up the slack of Mommy and Daddy Hilton.
More Justice: 2 women convicted of shoplifting were sentenced to stand outside the Wal-Mart they violated for four hours wearing sandwich boards declaring “I am a thief. I stole from Wal-Mart.” Some call the punishment “cruel.” (Waaa-waaa…I want my milk and cookies!) Get the hell over it! Don’t steal! Geez.
OMG: Who keeps releasing these tapes of bad dads to the media??? Yeah, I’m talking about Alec Baldwin and the Hoff. Seriously…what good does public humiliation do for the situation??? That poor little Baldwin girl…please stop exploiting people’s personal problems. Please.
Me: I have jury duty this week. I’m hoping I’ll get thrown out the first day. Grades are due Wednesday, and I still have some grading to do-I don’t have time for civic duty; I’m pulling my civic duty every day by educating the masses. I’m thinking I’ll get thrown out for being too liberal…if not, I may just refuse to swear on the Bible…they’ll probably burn me at the stake, but at least I could go home and grade research papers…
Electrician is going to house today--should know this evening what the sellers want to do...hopefully fix all the stuff I asked them to! ;-)
