This song is so good. It's hard to believe kinda. This whole album is ridiculous, actually. I keep putting it away/losing it for a while and then getting it back out/finding it/getting a new one after a long enough period of time, and every time it kicks my ass. It's so good. The whole hospital theme thing isn't even some artsy whiney metaphor or anything... i guess his girlfriend was in the hospital with lupus and his grandmother with something else, and he wrote virtually the whole album in his endless hours in waiting rooms and whatnot. They're also one of the best touring shows i've seen in johnstown. That one and Give Up The Ghost. If i haven't yet overstated the point...i really really really like Beneath Medicine Tree.
I can't really breathe through my nose at the moment. I imagine i'm keeping Kleenex's stock at an all-time high, as well. Cold? The worst allergies in history? Little of both? Idunno. But it sucks.
Two more days of classes. Two finals, one jury, lots of practicing, one final art project, one IUP equestrian team banquet, two concerts. That sounds like a lot...but we're getting there.
Good: I didn't have to buy any books at the beginning of this semester.
Bad: I now have no books to sell back.
My life needs less school and more farm work.
