Try Try Again
So I decided I'm gonna try and wear the Pirotess costume for Otakon again this year. I worked a lot on it last year and it would be a shame to not use it, even if I only wear it for half a day.
I definitely didn't have the money to make a brand new costume, and since I feel like I know how to make this work this time, I'm gonna fix it up. I have no sewing to do with a machine (phew!), and all I really need to do is get a bra that sits well, some detangler for my wig, a new side belt (which I may or my not make), repaint my sword, and get a new coronet that won't get tangled in my wig.
I can probably finish it off tomorrow with good luck and a short trip to Ac Moore.
In other news, I went shopping over the weekend and got a new dress and shoes for when I go clubbing on the 30th. If anyone wants to join me in seeing Infected Mushroom, let me know. I think its gonna be a blast! :D
Today was kind of a mess and I'm sorry Ashley I didn't get a chance to come over. I would love to hang out with you some other time, if not during the week, then definitely I'll see you at the party in two.
That's about it for now. I'm gonna go snuggle with Jazz after I work on the costume a bit more.
