I thought you'd get a kick out of this..... Yellow Rose Bride (This book will be published in December,
but it is out already as Bridal Lace and Buckskin! So you could find a second-hand copy before December.)
It's a Christian Romance novel.... but just look at the name of the hero.... Adam Baldwin!!!
This character is a rancher from Texas, and this is how the author describes him: "dark brown, wavy hair, the irresistible Baldwin sky-blue eyes, and skin tanned to nut brown by the Texas sun" and "even, white teeth beneath a dark tan".
*sigh* Doesn't that sound like a combination of a certain actor we know, and his best loved role, Jayne Cobb?
Do you think the author has seen Serenity, or was this just a weird coincidence?!!
And here's a description of some of the female characters reactions to him: "He's so handsome he makes my teeth ache.", "Three pairs of covetous eyes returned to Adam's sculpted features.", "Will you look at those eyes? Have you ever seen such a deep blue? There's not a man here who could hold a candle to him.", "I do declare that Adam Baldwin is the best-looking man in Potter County.", "Just looking at him makes my heart flutter like a butterfly's wings!" and "I know a good-looking man when I see one."
