Tell me about it. Jayne all the way for me too

I've just been watching the first part of Jane Eyre on the BBC this evening. It was WONDERFUL. Mr Rochester was so flirty and sexy one minute, and the next so grumpy and impossible. So Jayne -like! It was wonderful watching them begin to be attracted to each other. And when they first met, with her having to help him to his horse because he was injured falling off. SHe had her arms around him, very close. *sigh*. I think Imught me writing a lot of very romantic fanfic over the next few weeks. I LOVE Jane Eyre and Mr Rochester...

Oh, New Jane Eyre! So, Jealous!

My favorite version thus far had been the Ciran Hinds one. Cannot wait to see the new one.

The actor, Toby Stephens, is a wonderful actor. He was in BBC's "The Tennant of Wildfell Hall" and was just dreamy in that, but I just couldn't imagine him playing Rochester. How wrong could I be! I think I'll be a puddle of goo by the end. The think about romantic stories is that, by the end, all our viewers/ readers have fallen in love with the hero, along with the heroine in the story. He was grumpy and oh so sexy. and the way he was looking at Jane..... *fans herself*

Just saw an ad for "Wide Sargasso Sea" which is the story of Mr Rochester and his first wife, the mad woman in the attic. It is a sensual, very carribean tale, unlike Jane Eyre. I hope they show it just as Jane Eyre is finishing.

I recorded Jane Eyre onto a DVD so maybe I could torrent it....?!!

“I recorded Jane Eyre onto a DVD so maybe I could torrent it....?!!”

Oh! That would be lovely. I think a lot of us are still very grateful for you torrenting Above and Beyond!

He was in BBC's "The Tennant of Wildfell Hall" I still need to see that one. I bought to book but haven’t go around to reading it yet.

*Whispers* Way in the future, I’m thinking about doing a Rayne/Jane Eyre series.

I am a puddle of envy! I love Toby Stephens! The Tenant of Wildfell Hall was wonderful and he was the only good thing in the most recent adaptation of The Great Gatsby. (And did you notice he was the young CLint Eastwood in that Space movie.. whatever the name was? Cracked me up!) It will probably be YEARS before we see it here in the States!!

*whimpers*

I'm sure it will be v. popular here, and so BBC America will show it there...

Do you remember North and South? They weren't going to show it in the US, but it got so popular here, and viewers asked for it to be shown there that they put it on. And I'm sure Jane Eyre will be broadcast.. soon! *fingers crossed*

I'll see if I can get it on torrent... or maybe I could make a dvd copy and pop it in the post?!! (Think I've worked out how to make an NTSC copy in my computer). Let me know if you want this...
