Update
I dragged myself into town even though I felt like passing out with some sort of weird flu/chest infection thing, bah! also found out that Texas Terri was playing Hartlepool tonight, if I'd known earlier I would have tried to make arrangements to go but I dunno how I would have got there and back and I guess it's for the best if I'm feeling ill. Hopefully she'll tour again soon and play somewhere a bit nearer like Sunderland or Newcastle.
I managed to find a shop that had copies of The Cuckoo Press, that free music zine. Also picked up a couple of issues of Vice (there was the fiction issue that included stories by Harmony Korine, Neil La bute, Andrea Dworkin and more --- and the poverty issue which was all about the shittiest parts of Nottingham and how run-down and crime ridden the whole place is) and a free zine called Deja Vu which was basically arty illustrations/photos and little quotes/poems. the Cuckoo Press was quite good and I was really pleased because they had actually given PussyRock a really good write-up as well as going on to mention Ladyfest and feminism in general in the article so I'm pleased about that.
I am thinking of my new zine project that I want to work on as well as finishing off PussyRock 3 but I'll post more about that later.
