Got new issue of Diva which had a couple of good interviews w/Laurie Penny (I've just been reading her new book, Unspeakable Things) + crime fiction writer Veronica Fearon. They also had a review of Lana Del Rey + a mention of this great electronic dance duo, Hi Fashion. And they had a little bit on Faggettes who do collage art.
Attitude had a feature on Pride (now that I've seen the trailer I can't wait to see it) + the real-life story behind it (of a London LGBT group going to Wales to give money to the striking miners in the 1980s). They also had an interview w/Jonathan Harvey (who wrote Gimme Gimme Gimme + adapted Beautiful People for TV) + Andy Bell on his new album, Torsten the Bareback Saint plus a little bit with the comic, Jeff Leach.
They also had an interview with Caitlin Moran + a short piece on A Streetcar Named Desire (I'm still cross about the fact that the reissue of Generation Terrorists didn't include the dialogue from ASND that used to start Little Baby Nothing). They also had a sidebar on prison TV series in their Orange is the New Black interviews that mentioned some of my favourites like OZ + Prison Break + Bad Girls (tho' sadly not Buried, the C4 series w/Lennie James which is great).
And best of all, they had a review of Lilting + they gave it 4/5. (They also had their 100 Hotttest Men supplement but I'll do a separate post on it).
Finally got round to listening to the new Paloma Faith album, I liked it but I couldn't say there were any tracks that particularly stood out for me.
