I also rewatched P.O.W. again recently - it’s from ITV just over 10 years ago + it stars James D’Arcy, Patrick Baladi, Joe Absolom + a bunch of other UK actors you’d probably recognise as WW2 prisoners of war. OK, I can’t vouch for its absolute historical accuracy but I do still love it as a drama + I just have a soft spot for the show for personal reasons. Oh + Tom Burke pops up in Episode 3 as a young soldier. The whole thing is up on YouTube + it’s only 6 episodes long. (Some of the eps do contain violence/scenes of torture etc. but I didn’t find it too graphic).
