Got new issue of Bazaar as the free gift was a choice of Leighton Denny nail polishes (and even better, next month it's a choice of L'Occitane perfumes)
Next month's Elle is giving away a Malin + Goetz 3 piece travel set (face cleanser/lip moisturiser/face moisturiser). This month they had a really good piece by Emma Forrest (I really wish someone would make a film/TV series out of one of her screenplays - it must be a bit disheartening for her to have things fall through, but having said that, she's still making enough money to live on + living a good life in Los Angeles). There wasn't a column by Ruby Tandoh so I wonder if she's still writing for them. There was also little mentions for Viv Albertine's book and the upcoming book by John Waters, Carsick.
I've seen a couple of little mentions of Pride (new film set in the 80s about a gay group going to meet the striking miners - it sounds really good + so far it seems to be getting good reviews).
Last weekend the Times had an interesting piece by Janice Turner on transgender matters. Also Telegraph had a couple of good interviews w/Juno Temple and Eddie Izzard. They also had a little pic of Marilyn Monroe in their magazine feature on celebrities + taxis.
